1992 Copa Libertadores

The Copa Libertadores 1992 was the 33rd edition of the most important South American football competition for club teams. 21 teams took part. It took the national champions of CONMEBOL countries and the second part respectively. The participants completed titleholder CSD Colo- Colo. The tournament began on 18 February and ended on 17 June 1992 with the final second leg. The Brazilian representatives Sao Paulo won the final against CA Newell 's Old Boys and for the first time the Copa Libertadores.
