1992 Veikkausliiga

The First Division in 1992 was the third season of the First Division, the highest Finnish league for football the men.

Helsingin JK was Finnish champion. The capital club had at the end of season three -point lead over defending champion Kuusysi Lahti and FC Jazz Pori.

Two clubs were 1992 under a new name: From the porin Pallo - Toverit FC Jazz Pori was, Oulu Työväen Palloilijat merged with Oulu Luistinseura to FC Oulu.

In the Relegation FC Oulu played as First Division - Penultimate against the second division FinnPa Helsinki for a place in the First Division in 1993. Thus there was a Neuaflge the relegation duel from last year, when then- Oulu TP was able to prevail and remained top notch.
