1993–94 Coupe de France

The competition for the Coupe de France in the 1993/94 season was the 77th playout of the French Football Cup for men teams. This year, reported 6,261 clubs, including those from the overseas possessions of France.

Titleholder was Paris Saint -Germain, who retired this time in the quarterfinals. The trophy won the Association de la Jeunesse AUXERROISE that was the first time successful in their second finals after 1979 so. After the organized by the regional subdivisions of the National Federation FFF qualifying rounds attacked from the round of 64 teams and the 20 first division in a competition. Special events

The AJ Auxerre, originally emerged from the Catholic sports movement, coped with the injury- induced failure of their tribe goalkeeper Bruno Martini in the final and won the first title of their club history.

This season, the " Affaire OM -VA " overshadowed the French football, even the cup competition: Olympique Marseille ( OM) of attempted match-fixing against the U.S. Valenciennes Anzin (VA) in the previous league season 1992/93 was transferred, his championship title stripped and the club in the summer of 1994, demoted to the second division.
