1993 World Series

The World Series 1993 was the second edition of the Finals of the Major League Baseball as a result, which took place partly outside the United States. For the second time in history a team from Canada won the title. The series started on 16 October in 1993 and ended on 23 October 1993. There stood the champion of the American League, the Toronto Blue Jays, and the champion of the National League, the Philadelphia Phillies, opposite. Winner of the " Best of Seven " series were the Toronto Blue Jays 4-2 victories. For the Blue Jays, it was the second and so far last win the World Series in franchise history.
