1994–95 Czech 1. Liga season

The season 1994/95 was the second regular hosting of the first league, the second Czech hockey league. In the playoffs, the HC Kometa Brno and HC Železárny Třinec prevailed that arose as a result of league expansion automatically in the Extraliga, HC Tábor during the descent into the second league.

Mode

In the main round each of the 14 teams completed a total of 40 games. The top four teams qualified directly for the second playoff round, while the teams of five to twelve got in on the places in the first round in the playoffs. The two last placed athlete had to play in the relegation for the league. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point. For one defeat after regulation time gave no points.

• AZ Havířov - HC Baník Hodonín 3:0 ( 3:1, 4:2, 4:3 )

Semifinal

• HC Kometa Brno - AZ Havířov 3:0 ( 6:3, 5:0, 3:1 )
• HC Železárny Třinec - TJ Slovan Jindřichův Hradec 3:0 ( 8:0, 4:2, 3:2 )

The two last placed 1st League met in the relegation to the respective two best teams in the second league groups. Since the first league due to the increase in the Extraliga lost two teams, the top four teams for the first league could be in the relegation round qualify. Finally, the HC Karlovy Vary, the HC and the HC Liberec Přerov went up into the first league of the HC Banik Sokolov reached the league and the SK Slavia Horacka Třebíč and relegated HC Tábor played in the following game time in the second league.
