1994–95 IHL season

The 1994/95 season was the 50th regular season of the International Hockey League. During the regular season, the 17 regular - IHL teams denied each of 81 games, while the Russian visitors, Soviet Wings played against each other team once. In the play-offs, the Denver Grizzlies prevailed and won the first Turner Cup in their history.

Team changes

The following changes were made before the start of the season:

  • The Soviet Wings, a delegation of the Russian hockey club Krylia Sovetov Moscow, participated as a guest crew once to the IHL in part and denied a total of 17 season games.
  • The Chicago Wolves have been included as an expansion team in the league.
  • The Denver Grizzlies were added as an expansion team in the league.
  • The Houston Aeros were added as an expansion team in the league.
  • The Minnesota Moose were added as an expansion team in the league.
  • The Salt Lake Golden Eagles have been to Detroit, Michigan, moved and changed their name to Detroit Vipers.
