1994 Tippeligaen

The Tippeligaen 1994 was the 50th season of Norway's highest football league and the fourth season under the name Tippeligaen. The season began on April 16, 1994 and ended on 16 October 1994.

Mode

Twelve teams played in the league in a simple round-trip round against each other, so that each team completed 22 games. Only the two last placed athlete had to dismount. There were no play-offs since the league was expanded in 1995 to 14 clubs.

Season

Rosenborg BK won for the third consecutive year, the Norwegian championship. It was also the ninth championship for Rosenborg BK. So you stopped the record of Fredrikstad FK. Since Matchday they were at the head of the table. On the third to last game they secured ahead of the championship. The cup competition was won by the team of Molde FK from the first Divisjon. The climber Sogndal IL and Strømsgodset IF had after just one season back in the first Divisjon dismount. In contrast, Vålerenga IF could hold in the Tippeligaen.
