1994 WDC World Darts Championship

The 1994 Skol World Darts Championships was, Essex discharged on December 26, 1993 to January 2, 1994 in Circus Tavern in Purfleet English. The first WDC World Cup started six days before the start of the BDO World Darts Championships in 1994 and was broadcast by Sky Sports. The prize money totaled 64,000 pounds. Mike Gregory and Chris Johns had in the meantime returned to the BDO and replaced by Graeme Stoddart and Kevin Burrows. The field was increased by seven American and one Irish players to a total of 24 participants.

The participants were divided into eight groups of three players. The first match of a group challenged the players A and B, held the second match, the loser of Match 1 and Player C and the third match between the winner of Match 1 and Player C. The group winners moved into the quarter-finals, where the tournament was continued in the knockout system. The final was won by the Englishman Dennis Priestley against his compatriot Phil Taylor 6-1.
