1994 Winter Paralympics

The 6th Winter Paralympics were held in the Norwegian town of Lillehammer from 10 to 19 March 1994. The Paralympics is the Olympics for people with physical disabilities. Approximately 471 athletes from 31 nations took part in the competitions in five sports.

Outstanding athletes

The Norwegian Ragnhild Myklebust won five gold, two silver and two bronze medals in biathlon, cross country skiing and sledding.
