1995 AFC Women's Championship

The 10th Asian Cup Women was held in the period from September 23 to October 2, 1995 in Malaysia. It was played in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah province. The winner was the fifth time in a row China to a 2-0 victory over Japan.

Mode

There were no qualifiers for this tournament. The eleven teams were divided into two groups of four and a group of three. Within the preliminary groups, each team plays once against each other. The group winners and the best runners-up spot to reach the semi-finals. The semi-final winners reach the finals, the semi-final losers play for third place.
