1996–97 Campionato Sammarinese di Calcio

The Campionato Sammarinese di Calcio in 1996/97 was the twelfth season of the Sammarinese football league of men.

Compared to last year, the series was A2 (2nd League ) merged with the top division, which resulted in an increase in the number of participants from ten to 16. The championship mode is successor reasonably defined: In the regular season, the teams played in two equal groups of eight teams.
