1996 European Men's Handball Championship

The 2nd European Handball Championship for men was held from 24 May to 2 June 1996, Spain held. The title of the Russian national handball team was able to secure that could barely beat with 23:22 in the final of Spain. The German team finished in eighth place; Austria and Switzerland failed to qualify for the finals themselves.
