1996 IAAF World Cross Country Championships

The 24th IAAF World Cross Country Championships IAAF took place in Stellenbosch near Cape Town (South Africa) on 23 March 1996. Danie Craven Stadium was the venue.

The men started over a distance of 12.15 km, the women than 6.3 km, the juniors about 8.35 km and junior women over 4.22 km.
