1996 Indy Racing League season

The IRL- 1996 season was the first season of the U.S. Indy Racing League. It began on January 27, 1996 in Orlando and ended on May 26, 1996, Indianapolis. The champion Scott Sharp and Buzz Calkins won, who finished the season tied.
