1996 World Series

In the World Series in 1996 the winner of the Major League Baseball was determined for 92 times.

As a champion of the American League, the New York Yankees were against the Atlanta Braves as a champion of the National League.

The Yankees spoiled by success won by a 4-2 win her total 23 tracks. The series began for them with two hearty home defeats ( aggregated 1-16), but so was the offensive power of the Braves ( defending champion from last year ) is nearly depleted. The following four games all went for Atlanta lost in Game 4 only in the 10th inning.

The series started on 20 October 1996 and ended on 26 October 1996. As MVP of the World Series the New York pitcher John Wetteland was excellent, served as Closer in all four New York victories.
