1997–98 Coppa Italia
The Coppa Italia 1997/98, the football cup competition for club teams in Italy of the 1997/98 season, Lazio won. Lazio met in the finals of the AC Milan and could win the Coppa Italia for the second time after 1958. With 0:1 and 3:1 to Lazio won against Milan. It was the successor to Vicenza Calcio, which was eliminated in the second round against Pescara Calcio.
As an Italian Cup Winners 1997/98 to Lazio qualified for the Europa Cup Winners' Cup the following year. This last edition of the European Cup Winners 'Cup before its inclusion in the UEFA Cup could decide Lazio in the final against RCD Mallorca from Spain and was the last winner of the European Cup Winners' Cup ever.
