1997–98 FA Premier League

The 1997/98 season was the sixth season of the Premier League, which was organized by the FA, while the 99th Erstligasaison in English football. FC Arsenal for the first time since 1991 English champion and was also able to win the FA Cup. All three newly promoted Crystal Palace, Barnsley FC and Bolton Wanderers, had to descend directly back into the First Division. Scorers were with 18 hits Dion Dublin Coventry City, Michael Owen from Liverpool and Chris Sutton from Blackburn Rovers.

The season lasted from 9 August 1997 to 10 May 1998.
