1997 World Series

The World Series 1997 was the 93rd edition of the Major League Baseball Finals between the champion of the American League, the Cleveland Indians, and the Florida Marlins, the champion of the National League. Founded in 1993, The Marlins moved for the first time in its short history in the World Series, and the same could win their first title. The decision was extremely scarce: In the final game the Marlins managed only in the last inning of the regular compensation, and the ultimate walk-off run was then made in the second extra - inning.

The series started on 18 October 1997 and ended on 26 October 1997. As MVP of the World Series Livan Hernandez was excellent.
