The 1998/99 season was the 45th season of the Eredivisie, the highest Dutch football league. Champion for the 14th time Feyenoord Rotterdam. Had to dismount NAC Breda.
In the Relegation to RKC Waalwijk Sparta Rotterdam prevailed, which thus play in the Eredivisie 1999/2000. Both managed so the league.
