1998–99 Scottish League Cup

The Scottish League Cup was played for the 53rd time in 1998/99. The Scottish League Cup began on 1 August 1998 and ended with the finale in November of the same year. At the competition the clubs in the Scottish Football League and Scottish Premier League participated. If a duel is not decided after 90 minutes plus extension, it came to the penalty shootout. The title of the Glasgow Rangers secured the final against FC St. Johnstone.
