1998–99 Serie B

The 1998/99 season of the series B was launched on September 6, 1998 and ended on 13 June 1999. The Napoli rose by over 30 years in the top division in the B series from. While Hellas Verona ascended into the Serie A after two years again, Reggina Calcio could qualify for the highest Italian league for the first time. Of the four climbers only U.S. Cremonese had to descend again. Scorer was Marco Ferrante from FC Turin with 26 goals this season.
