1998–99 Slovenian Hockey League season

The 1998/99 season was the eighth staging of the Slovenian Hockey League after the declaration of independence of Slovenia from Yugoslavia. She was discharged with four teams. Defending champion and also the new champion was the HDD Olimpija Ljubljana.

Participants and mode

As in previous seasons before the Slovenian Alps League championship was held (see Alps League 1998/99). The three Slovenian clubs received their placement following bonus points ( HDD Olimpija Ljubljana received three, the HK Jesenice 2, the HK Bled one and not involved in the Alps League Club HK Slavija Ljubljana also a point ). After a first round was discharged, retired at the end of the HK Jesenice. The remaining three clubs playing in a second phase, nor ever once against each other, the top two clubs then carried the final as best of five series against each other.
