1998 Copa CONMEBOL
The Copa Conmebol in 1998 was the seventh playout of the South American club football competition, which was comparable to the European UEFA Cup. It again took part in 16 teams. The Brazilian representative Santos won the final against CA Rosario Central of Argentina.
Scorers were together the Uruguayan Carlos Morales Liga de Quito and the Brazilian Viola Winner of FC Santos, each with four hits.
