1999 All-Africa Games
The 7th Pan-African Games were held from 10 to 19 September 1999 Johannesburg, South Africa instead. 53 countries with approximately 6,000 athletes participated in 18 different disciplines. Netball was included as a demonstration sport in the competition schedule.
