2000–01 Icelandic Hockey League season

The 2000/01 season was the tenth season of the Icelandic Hockey League, the highest Icelandic Hockey League. Champion for the eighth time overall in club history Skautafélag Akureyrar.

Mode

In the main round, the four teams each completed 15 games. The top two teams qualified for the championship final. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
