In the season 2000/ 01 Scottish Premier League was Glasgow Celtic Scottish football champions. Celtic Thus qualified for the Champions League, along with runner-up Glasgow Rangers after Scotland have won an additional place. Ranking third Hibernian and Kilmarnock FC achieved the qualification for the UEFA Cup. Was relegated FC St. Mirren, which was replaced by the newly promoted FC Livingston.
