2000–01 Ukrainian Hockey Championship

The 2000/01 season was the eighth season of the Ukrainian Hockey League, the highest Ukrainian Hockey League. Master became the second overall time in the club history of HK Berkut Kiev.

Mode

The twelve participants were divided into the main round in three groups (Centre, East, South ). The zwwi best teams in the scales of the center and east, the South squadron winners and Gladiator Lviv was the only participant of the Season West qualified for the second round. The two best teams in the second round qualified for the playoffs, where the Master was played. For those directly qualified HK Sokol Kiev and the Kiev HK Berkut as a participant of the East European Hockey League were. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
