2000–01 WCHL season
The 2000/01 season was the sixth regular season of the West Coast Hockey League. During the regular season, nine teams denied each of 72 games. In the play-offs, the San Diego Gulls prevailed and won the fourth Taylor Cup in their history.
Team changes
The following changes were made before the start of the season:
- The Long Beach Ice Dogs of the International Hockey League were included as an expansion team in the league.
