2000 European Nations Cup First Division

In 2000, the first season of the reformed version of the European Nations Cup ( ENC) was held. The reform was mainly because of that become necessary because Italy was admitted to the participants in the Six Nations. With Morocco participated in this first edition, also an African country part. Each team played after the Six Nations model only once against any opponent, and the game data was also reflected approximately with those of the Six Nations tournament.

Rules

The scoring system used was as follows:

  • 2 points for a draw

  • 0 points for a forfeit defeat
