2000 Grand Prix de Tennis de Lyon

The Grand Prix de Tennis de Lyon in 2000 was the 14th edition of the indoor tennis tournament in Lyon. The tournament was played on carpet and worked as the International Series tournament of the ATP - male series. It was held in conjunction with the St. Petersburg Open from 6 to 13 November 2000. The prize money was for both single and double tournament for $ 775,000. In individual 32 players competed against each other in a double there were 16 pairings.

Defender of the single was the Ecuadorian Nicolas Lapentti, who did not compete this year. Instead won the unseeded Arnaud Clément of France, who thus celebrated the second title of the season and his career.

In doubles, the top-seeded pair won consisting of the Dutchman Paul Haarhuis and Sandon Stolle of Australia. So you came over from Piet Norval and Kevin Ullyett.
