2000 Meistriliiga

The Meistriliiga 2000 was the 10th season of the highest Estonian football league of gentlemen, the Meistriliiga. It was played Regular from 1 April to 29 October 2000, the two relegation matches on 5 and 11 November 2000.

Season

The FC Levadia Maardu could defend the title from the previous year impressively, with 23 wins and 5 draws he had in any season defeat. It was the second championship of the club in history. With the Estonian Cup could even double in 1999 and 2000 to win twice in a row. As the reigning champion Estonian Levadia failed in the Champions League the following season 2001/ 02 to Bohemians Dublin. The FC Kuressaare went at the end of the season in the relegation against the former FC Balatonelle who took the name JK Tervis Pärnu, and was able to decide for themselves, after Pärnu no game entitled players had available.
