2001–02 Polska Liga Hokejowa season

The 2001/02 season was the 67th season of the Polish Hockey League, the highest Polish Ice Hockey league. Champion for the sixth time overall in club history Unia Oświęcim. Polonia Bytom pulled his team ahead from the game back and was thus firmly relegated.

Mode

In the main round of the eight teams should complete a total of 42 games, but the game plan had after leaving Polonia Bytoms, which therefore was certain relegated, to be changed. The top four teams qualified for the playoffs, where the Master was played. For one victory after regulation time, each team received three points for a win after overtime two points, a draw and one defeat after overtime there was a point and a defeat after regular time zero points.
