In the season 2001 /02 Scottish Premier League was Glasgow Celtic Scottish football champions. Celtic Thus qualified for the Champions League. Vice- champion Rangers, third in the table FC Livingston FC and Aberdeen reached the qualification for the UEFA Cup. Was relegated FC St. Johnstone, which was replaced by the newly promoted Partick Thistle.
