2001–02 Serie B

The 2001/02 season of the series B was launched on August 26, 2001 and ended on June 2, 2002. Calcio Como With and FC Modena two climbers were able to celebrate the direct walkover in the Serie A. Reggina Calcio and failed to re- ascent to the top flight. Ternana Calcio remained only in the B series because Erstligaabsteiger Fiorentina got no license and was ultimately dissolved. Scorer Luís Oliveira of Como Calcio with 23 goals this season.
