2001 CAF Champions League

The CAF Champions League 2001 began on 17 February 2001 with the first round and ended on 21 December 2001 with the final second leg between al Ahly of Egypt and Mamelodi Sundowns from South Africa. The winner was Al Ahly, who won the second leg 3-0 after a 1-1 draw in the first leg. This was the drite title of al Ahly Cairo.

First round

First leg on February 17 to 18, Second leg matches on the 4th to March 5.
