2001 WTA Tour Championships

The WTA Championships 2001 ( also known as Sanex Championships ) was a tennis tournament for women hall carpet square in Munich, Germany. The tournament was held from October 30 to November 4, 2001 at the Olympic Hall instead.

Martina Hingis in the singles and the duo Martina Hingis and Anna Kournikova in a double were the defending champions.

Winner of the single was Serena Williams, who won a fight against Lindsay Davenport. The double title secured Lisa Raymond / Rennae Stubbs against Cara Black / Jelena Lichowzewa with 7:5, 3:6 and 6:3.
