2002–03 DFB-Pokal
The DFB Pokal 2002/ 03 was the 60th edition of the Cup football competition of the men. The games began on 28 August and ended with the final at the Olympiastadion Berlin on 31 May 2003. Cup winner was FC Bayern Munich, who won against 1 FC Kaiserslautern 3-1. In the second round, Bayern holders FC Schalke 04 had turned on penalties.
The DFB Cup winner was right to start in the 1st round of the UEFA Cup 2003/04. Since the Bavarians, however, had already qualified as German champions for the UEFA Champions League 2003/ 04, the losing finalist trophy was allowed to start 1 FC Kaiserslautern in the UEFA Cup.
