2002 World Championship of Ski Mountaineering
The First World Championship in Ski Mountaineering 2002 ( French Championnats du Monde de Ski de Montagne 2002) was from 24 to 27 January 2002 in Dauphiné at Serre Chevalier, France discharged. It was organized by the International Council for Ski Mountaineering Competitions ( ICSM ) of the Union Internationale des Associations d' Alpinisme ( UIAA ), with the support of the Fédération française de la montagne et de l' escalade ( FFME ). Participated have a total of 230 athletes from 22 countries and three continents.
In 1975, the Trofeo Mezzalama was discharged as " World Cup ski mountaineering ", back in the classes "Civilians ", " soldiers " and "guide ". In ICSM World Cup, however, only participants in the national squad counted. Equipment
