2002 World Weightlifting Championships
The 15th World Weightlifting Championships of women and 72 World Championships in the Men's Weightlifting took place from 18th to 26th October 2002 in the Polish capital Warsaw. At the of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF ) in a duel ( tearing and piercing ) discharged competitions took 115 weightlifters from 37 nations and 170 weightlifters from 47 nations participate.
