2003–04 Eliteserien season

The 2003/04 season was the 65th season of the Elite series, the highest Norwegian ice hockey league. Champion for a fifth time in club history Storhamar Ishockey. Manglerud Star Ishockey got down to the second division.

Mode

In the main round each of the ten teams played a total of 42 games. The top eight teams qualified for the playoffs, where the Master was played. The two last placed athlete had to compete against the top two teams of the second division in the relegation. For a win within regular time each team received three points for a win after overtime two points for a loss after overtime there was a point and a defeat after regular time zero points.
