2003 Copa Libertadores

The Copa Libertadores 2003 due to the sponsorship of the automaker Toyota Toyota Libertadores Copa also was the 44th edition of the most important South American football competition for club teams. It was attended by 32 teams participate, with the number of participants was determined depending on the rank of the country in the CONMEBOL standings, and two representatives from Mexico and Venezuela, the determined two remaining qualifying places. The participants completed titleholder Club Olimpia. The tournament began on 4 February and ended on 2 July 2003 with the final second leg. The Argentine representative CA Boca Juniors won the final against FC Santos and the fifth time that the Copa Libertadores.
