2003 DFB-Ligapokal
The DFB - League Cup in 2003 was the eighth edition of the competition. Participants were the first five teams in the Bundesliga last season and the ninth VfL Bochum because the teams from place 6-8 in the UEFA Intertoto Cup played. Hamburger SV won by a 4-2 win over Borussia Dortmund in the final of Mainz. Top scorers of the competition with two hits were Marcio Amoroso and Jan Koller of Borussia Dortmund, Michael Ballack from Bayern Munich and Bernardo Romeo from HSV.
