2004–05 Division 1 season (Swedish ice hockey)

The 2004/05 season was the sixth season of Division 1 as the third highest Swedish hockey league.

Mode

The league was divided into four regional groups. The regions of North and South had in each case 12 participants, the 11 participants and West Regions East Region 13 participants. In each region, the teams were able to qualify and had to play in the relegation round for the promotion round. These were also conducted within each region.

For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
