2004–05 FIBA Europe League

FIBA Europe League 2004 /05 was the second staging of the run by FIBA Europe Euro Challenge and the last under the name Europe League. The competition started with the group stage on 26 October 2004 and ended on 28 April 2005 with the Final Four in Istanbul.

The winner was the Russian club Dynamo St. Petersburg.

Mode

The tournament began with a group stage of two groups of eight teams and two groups of seven teams. The top four of each group reached the knockout stages, followed by the quarterfinals. Both rounds were played in a best of three series. The two semi-finals, the 3rd place match, and the final took place as part of a Final Four tournament.
