2004–05 SPHL season
The 2004/05 season was the first regular season of the newly formed Southern Professional Hockey League. The eight teams completed in the regular season of 56 games each. The point of best team in the regular season were the Knoxville Ice Bears, while the Columbus Cottonmouths for the first time won the President's Cup in the play- offs.
