2004–05 Thai League

The 2004/05 season the Thailand Premier League was performed for the last time with 10 teams. After the league reforms implemented and the league was then subsequently increased only to 12 to 16 teams.

Master of the 2004/05 season was the FC Thailand Tobacco Monopoly, for the first time in its long history club. Could save just before going into the Second Division, the Bangkok Bank. With an 8th place at end of season you had, however, in the play-offs, they could decide for themselves. The team FC TOT other hand, had again the way in second league start after only 9th place could be occupied at the end of the season. In contrast, managed the Mitaufsteiger, the PEA, it is equal to the runner-up, still the biggest success in club history.

After 2003, Sarayut Chaikamdee was top scorer of the season for the second time.

Decisions

Kor Royal Cup

The Kor Royal Cup was held at the end of the season as Supercup between the champions and runners. 2005 Cup between FC Provincial Electricity Authority and the champions FC Thailand Tobacco Monopoly was discharged. It remained at the end of the Master clearly with 4:1 the upper hand.

Queens Cup

The Queen's Cup was not held this year due to lack of sponsors.

Continental competitions

BEC Tero Sasana FC and Krung Thai Bank represented both Thailand in the AFC Champions League, but did not get beyond the group stage. Although the Krung Thai was second in the group, but with 9 points behind Busan I'Park, the group first. BEC Tero Sasana could only get a point and was set last.

Thailand Tobacco Monopoly FC took part in the 2nd edition of the ASEAN Club Championship, but could not get through the group stage.
