2004–05 UPC-ligaen season

The 2004/05 season was the 66th season of the UPC ligaen, the highest Norwegian ice hockey league. Champion for a total 23 times in the club's history Vålerenga Ishockey. The mountains rose from IK to the second division.

Mode

In the main round each of the ten teams played a total of 42 games. The top eight teams qualified for the playoffs, where the Master was played. The two last placed athlete had to compete against the top two teams of the second division in the relegation. For a win within regular time each team received three points for a win after overtime two points, with one defeat after overtime there was a point and a defeat after regular time zero points.
