2004 Hopman Cup

The Hopman Cup 2004 was the 16th edition of the tennis tournament in Perth, Australia. He was discharged from 3 January to 10 January 2004.

The last participant was played between Hungary and Canada. In this play-off Hungary prevailed 2-1. Canada nevertheless came to a bet in the first round since the Belgian team through a breach of Kim Clijsters could not compete at their last group match against Hungary. The actually standing in the final team from Australia was unable to attend due to an injury of Alicia Molik and was replaced by the runner-up of Group Slovakia.

In the final, the team won in the person of Lindsay Davenport and James Blake of the United States 2-1 against Daniela Hantuchova and the team Karol Kucera of Slovakia.
