The Ladies German Open 2004, a WTA tennis clay court tournament for women in Berlin. It was a tournament of the Tier I category of the WTA tour in 2004. The tournament was held from May 1 to 9, 2004.

In individual Amélie Mauresmo defeated Venus Williams by walkover. In doubles, the pair Nadia Petrova / Meghann Shaughnessy won with 6:2, 2:6 and 6:1 against Janette Husárová / Conchita Martínez.
