2004 Ryder Cup

The 35th Ryder Cup was held from 14 to 19 September 2004 at the Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Township, Michigan. As the winner of Europe emerged.

The Oakland Hills Club was opened in 1918 and has hosted several major championships. Since 1951 ( U.S. Open victory by Ben Hogan ) the place is nicknamed The Monster. The Ryder Cup will be played on the South Course (par 70), which is characterized by extremely difficult greens.
